Rooted Together is a branch of Rooted Collective that exists to meet the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of the vulnerable in our community.

What is our "why?"

We are compelled by the love of Jesus and inspired by Matthew 25:35-36:

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

We long to unite our community in such a way that no one is overlooked, unseen, forgotten, falling through the cracks, or without support.

How do we do it?

At Rooted, we believe in being present where love is needed most. Through monthly outreaches, we step into the pockets of need within our local community—places where people are hurting, overlooked, or simply in need of care. Each outreach is intentionally and prayerfully planned by our team, grounded in listening to both God and the needs we see around us. Whether it’s providing meals, clothing, or simply offering our time and presence, our goal is to meet tangible needs with the love and compassion of Jesus. We’re not just showing up—we’re showing up with purpose, believing healing happens through relationship, dignity, and Spirit-led action.

What is our vision for the future?

We envision a day where no one is forgotten, and no one walks alone. Where every person is seen, known, and supported—not just in their moment of crisis, but through every step toward healing and wholeness. Rooted Together is our long-term vision to become a central hub of hope and restoration in our community. A place where immediate needs are met with love—through things like food, clothing, hygiene items, and shelter—and where deeper transformation is made possible through practical tools and meaningful relationships. We dream of offering classes that equip people in real-life areas—like finances, parenting, marriage, job readiness, and emotional wellness. We see licensed counseling available for those navigating trauma, grief, or mental health struggles. We imagine support groups, mentorship, spiritual guidance, and community gatherings where connection is consistent and healing is safe. It’s not just about helping people survive—it’s about walking with them as they learn to thrive. We believe lasting transformation happens when we care for the whole person—body, mind, heart, and spirit—and we’re committed to building that kind of community, together.

About this Month's Outreach:

About this Month's Outreach:

Townsend Elementary is a small but mighty school tucked right here in our hometown. It’s community-centered, deeply loved, and full of heart. With just around 100 students, it feels more like a big family than a school—and the staff? Some of the most dedicated, selfless, and loving people you’ll ever meet.

Many of the families connected to Townsend are walking through hard seasons. The teachers often go above and beyond, using their own money to make sure their students have what they need. That moved us, and we knew we had to do something. So, as a community, we’re stepping in.

We’re adopting a grade or two each month until we’ve wrapped our arms around the entire school. Each classroom shares a wishlist—real, tangible needs for the classroom, for learning, and even for home. Every single item is intentionally chosen by the teachers who know their students best. We then purchase and hand deliver each item directly to the school.
